This list will be updated frequently to reflect the changes in features and scope of Forma.
  • Network's infrastructure can run on:

  • Add and remove more organizations from networks and channels on the fly with a single click.
  • Every component self-recovers (including orderer) with a slight delay.
  • Orderer RAFT-based service.
  • 1 peer per organization (self-recoverable).
  • 1 CouchDB per peer. No SSL (http). Password protected.
  • Backend API to read all data and components in your organization.

  • Can add and remove organizations on the fly for networks and channels
  • RAFT is the only ordering service type (instead of Kafka)

  • Maximum of 10 organizations per network.
  • Every component self-recovers (including orderer) with a slight delay.
  • Minor bug fixes.

03-01-2019 - Beta release

  • All the infrastructure runs on WorldSibu’s servers.
  • Can’t add more organizations after a network is created.
  • Maximum of 5 organizations per network.
  • Non-fault tolerant orderer.
  • 1 peer per organization.
  • 1 CouchDB per pee. No SSL (http). No password protection.
  • Permissive consensus algorithm.

We try to manage every network really carefully while in BETA however beware of the BETA status and its potential limitations/issues.
